Sustainability

Fabric for the future

At BREDDY’S, sustainability is more than a buzzword – it shapes every piece from the very beginning.

From our self-developed fabrics to fair working conditions and eco-friendly packaging – we pay attention to every step.

Fashion that not only looks good on you – but does good, too.

A stylish end to overproduction.

The fashion industry is one of the world’s biggest environmental burdens – and we’re here to change that.

Our focus: long-lasting pieces you wear for years, not just for seasons.

Innovative. Functional. Intentional.

We’re working to shift the industry toward a mindset where clothing is truly valued – for you and for the planet.

PreLoved BREDDY'S – Clothing with a second life

Every BREDDY'S item can be returned. It will be inspected, washed, and repaired if possible. Then it returns to the shop as a PreLoved BREDDY'S, at a reduced price, with a full quality guarantee. This is not a charity program. It's a business model that extends the life cycle of a garment and conserves resources.

Items that are no longer wearable are reused, for example as shopping bags or other textile products. No material ends up in the trash as long as it still has some substance.

The result: extended lifespan, no new fiber production, and savings in water and CO₂ compared to buying new. Original BREDDY'S quality is maintained.

We only work with partners who rely on green technologies:

Renewable energy, less CO₂, and the economical use of water and raw materials. All to keep your ecological footprint as small as possible – without compromising on comfort or style.

Designed in Vienna, fabrics from Sweden & Portugal, sewn in family-run workshops across Europe.

Buttons and zippers come from Germany and Italy.

In the long term, we’re working toward our own production facility in Vienna – for even shorter distances, greater control, and stronger local value creation.

Conserving resources and reducing CO₂ emissions: through smart production processes. Our suppliers rely on modern technologies and processes – for clothing that looks good and is produced responsibly.

Castor: our wonder plant

A special fabric? That’s where our castor-based material comes in.

Made from castor oil, it requires hardly any water, no pesticides, and can be processed with low energy use.

The result: a fabric that’s wrinkle-free, quick-drying, water- and dirt-repellent – and gentle on both your skin and the environment.
